Nightfall Returns to Old Tucson
with a New Reign of Terror
A new villain takes the bench as Nightfall returns to Old Tucson with new haunts, scares, and live entertainment. The darkness is back. Judge Blackwood is waiting. And according to him, the verdict is already in.
For more than three decades, Nightfall has been a Halloween tradition in Southern Arizona, drawing generations of visitors to Old Tucson each October. Now, Nightfall returns for its 34th year with a new story, new haunts, and a new character calling the shots.
Meet Judge Blackwood
The ominous new face of Nightfall has taken control of the town, and by the time you enter the gates, your fate has already been decided—guilty. Judge Blackwood presides over this year’s Nightfall, including an all-new stunt show where the townsfolk find themselves on trial.
Summon La Llorona, If You Dare
For something a little more intimate, step inside the McLintock Theater for the Séance of La Llorona.
Hosted by Lady Theodora, the limited-capacity experience draws on the enduring legend of La Llorona, the grieving spirit said to wander the riverbanks searching for what she lost. Altars honoring La Llorona set the scene as guests gather for the séance. Space is limited, so plan ahead.
New Scares Around Every Corner
Nightfall 2026 features all-new haunted mazes and sinister scare zones, along with roaming characters and spooky vignettes that make the entire property part of the experience. Gargoyles lurk throughout the grounds, while a reimagined light show transforms Old Tucson after dark.
There’s plenty happening onstage, too. In addition to Judge Blackwood’s new stunt show, Nightfall debuts a new vampire musical and live entertainment throughout the evening. And because this is still Old Tucson, admission also includes select rides and attractions, including Antique Autos, the Carousel, Old Tucson Petting Zoo, and a train ride through the darkness.

Nightfall runs Thursdays through Sundays, October 1 through October 31, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Parking is free!
Ticket prices vary by night, with Early Scream tickets starting at $37. Children 4 and younger are free.
