Tucson Guide was founded in 1982 by Jill and Kevin Madden and was the founding product of Madden Publishing. For 40 years, the local magazine served editorial features covering things to do, places to go, and restaurant and shopping features to locals and visitors to Southern Arizona.

In 2021, Tucson Guide was given new life when Katie Bailey, a former Madden Media employee and Tucson Guide Publisher, acquired the Tucson Guide.

“Katie will continue the magazine’s legacy while injecting new ideas and vision for its continued contributions to the Tucson community and its visitors. Kevin and I could not be happier that our first project has the opportunity to continue for another 40 years,” said Jill Madden.”

The team of professionals who work on Tucson Guide, which includes several who have worked on Tucson Guide over the years, continue to work on Tucson Guide to ensure the same high-quality content, design, and service advertisers, visitors, and locals have come to expect.
