Taste,
Dirty T Tamarindo

Dirty T Tamarindo isn’t your average sweet shop. It’s a neon-hued flavor bomb of juicy gushers, dried mango, freeze-dried candies, and handmade chamoy-coated delights—all infused with spice, nostalgia, and deep Sonoran roots.

Dirty T’s crown jewels? Their “Dirty Juicers”—fruit gushers coated in a tangy house-made chamoy and signature chili mix—burst in your mouth with an explosion of spicy, salty, sweet, and sour. And then there’s the freeze-dried candy. Think crunch

starbursts or airy jolly ranchers wrapped in a bold coating of chamoy and chili. The flavor profiles are fine-tuned to perfection, too. Some candies are lip-puckeringly sour, others subtly sweet with a slow chili heat. It’s a multisensory taste journey.

And all the chamoy? Made from scratch in-house, using a family recipe passed down through generations from Hermosillo, Sonora, that you won’t find anywhere else.

Every fall and winter, seasonal specials are launched, including Halloween Boo Baskets, available only in October, and holiday stocking stuffers through the end of the year. And visitors can’t resist the keychains with mini Tajín bottles—a pocket-size souvenir and a nod to flavor lovers everywhere.

The storefront on St. Mary’s is a feast for the eyes as much as the taste buds. Vibrant murals by Tucson artists wrap the walls inside and out, each one a love letter to the 520 area. A cactus-shaped “T” marks the Dirty T logo, while interior art shouts out Tucson’s beloved west side—with its own flavor of family pride.

You can also find Dirty T Tamarindo in stores statewide, with many locations in Tucson, as well as a presence in Bisbee and Rio Rico. Dirty T Tamarindo is also a staple at local street fairs and Tucson markets. Every third Saturday of the month, they host the Dirty T Night Market at the shop—an open-air celebration of Tucson featuring

food trucks, vendors, live art, and local love.

Dirty T is reclaiming and celebrating the authentic art of Mexican candy-making. This isn’t a gentrifi ed version of chamoy—it’s the real deal, rooted in tradition and lovingly recreated and bottled for every customer. It’s a taste of old Mexico, made fresh for the Dirty T generation.
